Bassmaster Elite Series Starts Day 1 at Smith Lake, AL!

The Bassmaster Elite's are off for Day 1 at Smith Lake, AL! What started as a rainy first day has quickly switched over to a fish catching clinic! This is the first time that the Elite Series has visited Smith Lake. However, Bassmaster has visited the fishery 11 times in it's history. 

About the Lake:
Smith Lake is a 21,200 acre fishery about 20 miles northwest of Birmingham, AL. Smith is the state of Alabama's deepest lake, featuring a maximum depth of 264. With over 500 miles of fishable shoreline, most has been developed with lake-houses and docks.
