A crossbow scope is a tremendous hunting tool and allows today’s speedy horizontal platforms to deliver consistent accuracy at longer ranges.  Unfortunately, hunters and shooters cannot zoom traditional scopes without changing the arrow’s impact.  Variable speed scopes use magnification to adjust for the point-of-impact for arrows heavier than the manufacturer’s recommendation.  Hawk has changed the game for crossbow users so that they can zoom their optics from two to eight power, just like a rifle scope.

Meet the XB30 Zoom FFP (2-8X36)

The ability to adjust the magnification of a scope is an enormous advantage to crossbow hunters.  Not only can you greatly enlarge the magnification of the deer or elk you are stalking, but the reticle’s aiming point also enlarges.  The Hawke XB30 operates on the first focal plane, like rifle scopes, and will enhance the object without affecting the point of impact.  Here are additional elements of the new XB30.
