Major League Fishing's 22-year-old rookie, Drew Gill won his first Bass Pro Tour event this weekend at the Chowan River! Drew weighed 22 bass in Sunday's Championship Round weighing 56 pounds, 14ounces and worth $100,000!
In the second period of the Championship Round, in less than 2 hours, Drew recorded 10 scorable bass totaling 31 pounds, 12 ounces. This was the best period out of all anglers during the event. When the clock ran out, Drew topped second place angler Michael Neal by 14 pounds.
