SpyPoint 2025 Camera Line

Trail cameras have become an integral part of scouting year-round. Regular trail cameras and cellular cameras continue to evolve and improve each year. In 2022, SpyPoint introduced its Flex line of cameras. Then, in 2023, they launched the G-36, a 36-megapixel camera. The Flex-M, Flex Plus, and Flex-S followed in 2024. Those SpyPoint models were wildly popular. So, what does SpyPoint have up its sleeve in 2025?

Entry Level Trail Camera

SpyPoint is introducing an entry-level trail camera called the Force 24. It has a 24-megapixel camera and is simple to use. Install 8 AA batteries and a new 32 GB SD card, and find a place to attach it to a tree. Turn the camera on and view your settings. Choose between 2K video or 24-megapixel pictures. Any of the SpyPoint Solar panels can also power the Force 24 for year-round use. SpyPoint will be selling these cameras for $59.99!

More Flex Models

How does SpyPoint top the Flex-M, Flex Plus, and Flex-S? Easy: They bring out the Flex Dark and Flex-S Dark. What is the difference between the two cameras? Just a few bells and whistles.

The Flex Dark cellular camera transmits 1080p video with sound and 40-megapixel pictures. It has a 100-foot flash detection range and a 0.3 trigger speed. Finally, the camera features low-glow or no-glow LEDs that can be controlled remotely on the free SpyPoint app. Powering the Flex Dark is easy with 8 AA batteries, a LIT-22 rechargeable battery, or a SpyPoint Solar Panel. The Flex Dark will sell for $129.99.

SpyPoint’s flagship camera for 2025 is the Flex-S Dark. It has an on-demand feature for instant video or photo transfers, and the solar panel on top of the camera charges an internal lithium battery. The internal battery alone can replace 1,000 AA batteries. The Flex-S Dark will also accept 8 AA batteries or the SpyPoint LIT-22 rechargeable battery. The camera has the same features as the Flex Dark but will sell for $189.99.  Both cameras feature a format and test button for easy setup. The dual SIM card technology picks up the strongest cell signal in the area and transmits videos or photos. For the Dark series cameras to perform the best, you will need a Class 10 Micro SD card.

Three Big Improvements

SpyPoint improved three features of the Flex Dark and Flex-S Dark. The first improvement you will notice is the antenna. The new antenna is flexible and not as bulky. It also fits other Flex series cameras if one of your antennas happens to break. Next, there is a new latch on both cameras. The latch opens much easier than the latches on past Flex camera models. Lastly, both cameras feature a new camera face material that is stronger than past Flex models.

I want to thank Barry Eley and Nick Wise from SpyPoint for sharing the information about the cameras with me. I was at the Open Season Deer and Turkey Expo in Columbus, Ohio, where they invited me to their booth to see the 2025 SpyPoint line. Enjoy the video they volunteered to do to share information about the cameras. Thank You, Open Season Deer and Turkey Expo, for the Press passes to cover the 2025 show!  Brian did a brief video about the new SpyPoint cameras on YouTube.  Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdP8H68rTE8
