Antlers by Klaus was founded by artist and whitetail enthusiast Klaus Lebrecht in northwestern Wisconsin almost 35 years ago. Klaus was a freelance artist and an aspiring taxidermist looking to hone his skills in the taxidermy trade and he turned to master taxidermist Joe Meder in Iowa for instruction. It was there that Klaus was first introduced to antler replicas and it was love at first sight. After many years of perfecting this niche, clients soon came in droves after seeing the life-like realism of these quality antler reproductions including Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, the NRA and the National Turkey Federation. Klaus has been commissioned for reproductions from all corners of the globe.

Our main facility is in Laporte, Colorado, however, we work with outfitters and game processors in Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico. You can drop off your taxidermy work at any of these locations. When the work is complete we will deliver it back to the same drop off location or ship it back to you. We ship worldwide. If you like the idea of having your taxidermy work completed in 3-5 months or 3-5 weeks, you can ship us your trophies from anywhere in the USA and we will pay up to $100 for the freight.
Located in the Foothills West of Denver, Colorado, Artiodactyla is a small shop with an emphasis on detail and the perfection of your trophy. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by wildlife. I wanted to know all I could learn about the wild world around me, and the supremely adapted animals that make their living “out there.” Striving to improve my personal skull collection led me to begin preparing skulls for clients. I take a personal interest in every job, making sure the quality of preparation exceeds both your standards, and mine.

I have been the owner/operator/artist at Birdsall Taxidermy for over twenty-five years. Art has always been a major interest and importance to me. I strongly feel taxidermy is a form of wildlife art, similar to sculpting and oil painting.
Some of the goals I personally value are to respect all clients, and their prized trophies, always striving to provide custom masterpiece quality wildlife art into each mount. I am passionate about my pursuit of taxidermy. I really enjoy the talents the Lord has blessed and bestowed upon me and I plan to pursue taxidermy into the future for many years.
